Invitation to Tribes – Expression of Interest

Now entering its second year, The Gathering is back to shake up the grid! 
Last year, you helped make waves. This year, we make history.

The Gathering 2025, an annual Second Life mega-event like no other — where creativity meets chaos, community meets competition, and the end of the world is just the beginning of the party.

​

This year, we dive into a post-apocalyptic waterworld — a wild west of waves — where only the most adaptable, outrageous, and creative tribal colonies survive. And it is named, The Age of Aquaterra.

​

Your group has been earmarked as a potential participant in this epic event. we believe you have the passion, skill and sense of adventure to achieve one of the 10 coveted tribe spots. 

​

Ten tribes will rise.
Ten trials will test them.
One will be crowned Top Tribe of SL 2025.

This year's dystopian theme is The Age of Aquaterra. In this flooded world, scattered colonies of survivors — the tribes — have carved out floating sanctuaries, salvage-scavenged outposts, and aquatic strongholds.Each tribe will host one of the 10 signature battles of their choosing.
