BBB
The Bellisserian Bureau of Bureaucracy (BBB) is a light-hearted yet remarkably organized community initiative within Second Life, dedicated to celebrating exploration, creativity, and connection. Founded by Boo Rojyo, the BBB issues virtual passports, travel stamps, and licenses that turn the vast Second Life grid into a living world of destinations. Residents can collect stamps from official terminals scattered across Bellisseria and beyond, each marking an adventure, event, or memory. What began as a playful nod to red tape has evolved into a beloved cultural institution—part game, part social network, and part art project—uniting explorers, creators, and wanderers under one shared mission: to discover, document, and delight in the world of Second Life.
Drivers of SL
Drivers of SL (“DSL”) is the largest travel and exploration group in Second Life, bringing together over 7,500 members who share a love of adventure. Founded in 2014 with secret party routes guided by a unique navigation HUD, the group formally launched in 2017 with a mission to create inspiring, engaging, and free weekly journeys across the grid. From cars, boats, and planes to rocket ships and teleporters, the Drivers embrace every mode of travel to explore the mainland and beyond. Each handcrafted “Grid Drive” offers a new experience—whether it’s a museum tour, sci-fi quest, espionage adventure, or scenic safari—while seasonal camp-outs add parties, contests, and camaraderie to the mix. Welcoming all who have a passion for exploration, DSL is a vibrant, diverse community that proves the scenic route is always the best way to see Second Life.
Fockers
The Fockers are a fiery, Spanish-speaking family tribe whose strength comes from unity and spirit. Known for their fearless energy, quick wit, and love of combat, they thrive on both battle and mischief, bringing a playful chaos to everything they touch. Whether it’s clashing head-on in the arena or stirring up laughter with their wild shenanigans, the Fockers move as one—tight, loyal, and unstoppable. Their bond is their greatest weapon, and together they prove that family, fun, and a fierce fighting spirit can carry them through any storm in Aquaterra.
Immersiva
Immersiva is the tribe of acclaimed digital artist Bryn Oh, a visionary world-builder whose work transforms virtual space into living art. Known for crafting deeply immersive experiences that blur the boundaries between story, environment, and emotion, Immersiva thrives on drawing people into rich, surreal landscapes where every detail has meaning. Their tribe embodies the spirit of total immersion—whether through breathtaking builds, experimental creativity, or the power of collective imagination—reminding Aquaterra that art is not just something you see, but something you step into, live within, and carry with you long after.
Hedonism
The Hedonism Tribe thrives on the simple truth that life is meant to be lived boldly, joyfully, and unapologetically. Rising from the tides of Aquaterra, they are a feisty collective whose heartbeat is music and whose spirit is celebration, savoring every moment as an art form—whether it’s a dance that lasts until dawn, a beat that refuses to fade, or a toast to beauty, creativity, and the bonds that tie people together. Their world is filled with rhythm, color, and the finer things, yet beneath the sparkle lies grit: they bring as much fire to the battle arenas as they do to the dance floor, proving that joy itself can be rebellion and that survival must be celebrated. With music as their anthem and indulgence as their creed, the Hedonists shine like a beacon of delight, daring all of Aquaterra to live louder, love harder, and dance as if tomorrow may never come.
The Team
We’re The Team, a vibrant, creative community built around friendship, collaboration, and fun. At our core, we’re a group of builders, artists, event hosts, and storytellers who love creating experiences together in Second Life. From roller rink parties to themed outfit competitions, concerts to sword tournaments, a big town to explore at the surface to a sewer system underneath to explore, we’re always brewing up something fresh. We host weekly movie nights, hang out, support each other’s projects, and celebrate creativity. Our members include the creator of the Flesh Pit National Mystery Park, the founder of Northbridge (a large and active town full of unique events), and a wide range of talented folks who each bring something special to the group. Whether we’re working on builds, putting on shows, or just spending time together, we keep things welcoming, active, and full of energy. Everyone contributes in their own way — and that’s what makes The Team so dynamic. We’re here to connect, to create, and to make every moment in SL more fun.
Tides of Chaos
Tides of Chaos is a collective of DJs and music lovers united by their passion for sound, rhythm, and the true craft of DJing in Second Life. Centered around their home club, Chaos and Calm, the tribe celebrates music as both art and community, bringing together fierce beats, raw energy, and unforgettable vibes. They are dedicated to keeping the integrity of the DJ scene alive—every set, every mix, every moment crafted with love and authenticity. For the Tides of Chaos, music is more than entertainment; it’s a lifeline, a calling, and a wave that binds them together as one.
Sonance
Sonance is a vibrant tribe devoted to music and event coordination in Second Life, bringing together a quirky, unusual, and endlessly creative spirit. Known for thinking outside the box, they curate experiences that go beyond the ordinary—mixing sound, atmosphere, and community into events that are as unforgettable as they are unpredictable. With music at their core and a love for the unusual guiding their path, Sonance thrives on surprising, delighting, and connecting people through the rhythm of Second Life.
Grid Games
Grid Games is where sportsmanship, skill, and community collide, uniting athletes and spectators from across Second Life in a vibrant celebration of competition. From fast-paced challenges to creative contests, GGC provides a stage where anyone can play, lead, and shine. With a spirit that balances rivalry and camaraderie, they embody the joy of pushing limits, cheering each other on, and proving that the grid is at its best when everyone has a place in the game.
